We are 12 days into the 2014-15 school year, and getting into a nice groove here in KG. This week, we continued to engage in activities, read alouds, and class discussions that foster a sense of community, safety, and well-being in our classroom. It was so wonderful to meet so many new students and their families at the Sneak Peek today. I can already tell what a fabulous group of students I have! You should have received the following information from me today:
If you were unable to visit today, this information will be sent home in your child's home/school folder on his/her first day of school.

Welcome to kindergarten! The first day of school is just around the corner, and I am so excited. I hope you are too! We will have a wonderful year, and I can't wait to get started!
Our classroom website and blog are the BEST way to stay connected to the happenings in kindergarten. Please bookmark this page and check back often!
Please also follow our class on Twitter @Baker_KG. I will tweet photos and anecdotes throughout the week to give you a glimpse into life in our classroom. Students will also take turns composing a tweet at the end of every school day to highlight something they learned, enjoyed, completed, etc.
I look forward to meeting everyone next week!
